Nice rooms. Friendly Service. Small town atmosphere. Breakfast a little lacking, but who stays for the breakfast..... highly recommend if your in the area.
Great place but we did have ants in our room for some reason . They seem to be pretty confused about what time they serve breakfast . The guy at the counter told us a different time than what breakfast was actually served . And the website had a different time. I'll sell the website , says the pool is open and it's not. Other than that. It's my choice of where to stay during an event.
Clean, very safe area, nice people. In Amish country. Microwave & small refrigerator. Iron and board. No roaches, no bed bugs. Very quiet except for the train horn 2-3 times during the night. McDonalds down the road. They have just a carb breakfast available: cereal (Cheerios), milk, and bread. No Smart TV to watch subscriptions. TV works. Nice grocery store in town.
I made reservations by a phone call to the front desk. I wanted to be sure that I did not make reservations through a 3rd party booking company...and they are seaky these days. I was treated to an interaction with a helpful and accommodating desk clerk. I could hear her smile through the phone. We arrived during a cold snap and the Inn was not very busy. The heat in the room was turned down, but heated up quickly to a toasty temperature on a cold evening. I heard the telltale chirp of a weak battery in a smoke detector in the adjacent room. I contacted the front desk and they fixed it quickly.
Very clean and cozy stay! Shower had great water pressure, bed was comfortable, staff was kind and helpful. Overall a peaceful stay I recommend.
Room was clean. No physical issues. Only complaint is the very poor tv service. Antenna attachment on the wall. Channels were very poor selection. No ESPN or up to date channels. OLD stuff
I grew up in a small Amish town (now living in a city) and we were headed to see Lake Michigan and watch a Notre Dame game. We got in late and the staff were so kind. Our room was very cute & comfy. It had the old time country feel to the room but the bed was AMAZING and the room was very clean. We travel a lot for our line of work and my husband hardly ever wakes up without a stiff back. These beds and the full fluffy pillows were great for his back and mine. No usual hotel pillows that go flat as soon as you lay on them. The food was wonderful. My husband enjoyed the egg casserole & toast while I helped myself to pancakes and bacon. We had a little bit of the sausage gravy too and it was so good. The location was perfect for a quiet place to rest away from any hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to get to everything we wanted to see. We will be back!
Super clean room. Needed a firmer mattress and more channels on the TV but all in all a nice place.
